EW yeah diabetic chocolate is the ultimate nasty. You know what's gross too? Diabetic ice cream… it's basically ice with nuts in it.. YUCK

Yeah, Hershey's is truly the worst chocolate I've ever tried. The cardboard comparison is pretty accurate. I was very disappointed in American chocolate. For one of the fattest countries in the world I expected your chocolate to be excellent. Instead, I swore to never touch that filth again. Personally, as much as I love Cadbury, my chocolately heart belongs to Lindt. I love Lindt.
… I will say, though, that I am madly in love with peanut butter m&ms and regularly bitch and whinge about the fact it's nearly impossible to find in Australia (Seriously, the nearest place for me to get peanut butter m&ms is a 45minute train trip from where I live. NOT COOL). I also adore the Krispy Kremes and am giddy with joy that I now live in Melbourne 'cause there are only two states in Australia that have Krispys and mmm. Wow I've gone on a tangent.
And yes, I agree with the idea that anyone who says something is better than sex, or that sex is not that fantastic has never had good sex. I almost felt so bad for Zac Hansons wife a few months ago when he announced on Howard Stern that he didn't see the big deal about sex and that it was over-rated.
But then I remembered she's a heinous bitch.

Hahaha my mom found your use of the word 'travesty' about the Hershey's Cadbury in the care package letter hilarious. It's definitely not as good as real Cadbury's, but I still like it!
Ooh do Hershey's do sugar-free? When I mentioned diabetic chocolate earlier I was talking about sugar-free – I've only had a couple of vaguely nice sugar-free bars. But maybe american sugar-free stuff is nicer? That'd be cool.
I am happy to amuse your family. Truth be told, I aim to be entertaining at all times. Now, American Cadbury's will do in a pinch. Luckily for me, I'm no longer ever in a pinch because I have wonderful friends in the UK who send me chocolate.
And yes, Hershey's has a sugar-free line. I've never eaten it, but I'd be happy to send some along sometime.

There's some crazy sugar free, diet friendly chocolate in Australia (not cadburys, I believe the company is called something crazy creative like, "The Sugar Free Company") which is like… 500 calories in the entire block. But you're only meant to eat five pieces at a time lest you give yourself diarrhoea… The same company also makes the worlds greatest lollies, but again… five at a time or diarrhoea.
It's so not fair.

You think Hershey's is bad, wait until you hear this. In the US, Cadbury chocolate isn't even really Cadbury – it's HERSHEY'S. Yep. That's right, Hershey's owns Cadbury in the US. They even have the audacity to put the Queen's seal on the label, the bastards. It's a travesty. My fellow Americans, do NOT believe the hype – American Cadbury has been in a deep depression for almost 20 years (Hershey's bought them in late 1988, my Dad was working for Cadbury at the time).
I've never seen this dark chocolate! I have Bourneville cocoa powder but you can't eat that!
Oh, that Cadbury owned by the US thing is like what they did to Arnotts biscuits. Tim Tams just haven't been the same since, it is truly upsetting

Cadbury isn't owned in the US, just Cadbury chocolate sold in the US is owned by Hershey's. The recipe for Dairy Milk here is COMPLETELY different than it is in the former British Empire.

I watched Chocolat, and so now I just want to eat a bunch of chocolate.
Someone mentioned Lindt. Those Swiss kids rock at making chocolate.
Oh and the Belgians too. Neufal? Neuhast? I forgot what the name of the company was, but my dad brought some back a couple years ago when he went to europe and OMG it was beyond amazing.
My current obsession is minty dark chocolate. So delicious and even a small amount is satisfying.

ah ladies, ladies, if you ever get the chance, please taste Venezuela's El Rey chocolate (it's classified as type 0 porcelain chocolate, which means to the choco-connoisseur there just isn't anything of a higher quality out there) …it's in Latinamerica after all where the best cacao beans are grown…but I'll concede, I love Lindt, and Godiva…and Hershey's kisses are okay, a bit too sweet. I think the problem with american chocolate in general is it's just too damn sweet…chocolate doesn't make you fat, but sugar does.

a baller. That is the craziest thing EVER. LMAO!
But I digress. Yes, he was the controller (it's an accounting thing) for Cadbury when I was in elementary school. What was awesome about it was the cases of chocolate I could bring to school. It made me quite popular those days. And quite overweight these days. 
American Cadburys goes home at night and cries itself to sleep wishing it were as good as the English kind.
