Sorry if this has no place here- I just felt that somewhere it should be posted, and this seemed like the best place.

Senator Kennedy, you are my senator, and I'm very proud to call you that. I'm very grateful for all you've done for the people of Massachusetts, and not only us, as you've done much for the entire nation. I know that you will continue to do much. You are the best statesman we've ever had, and we all love you. I hung your name in my window when you were up for re-election (and you handily won) and my parents and family all voted for you. We love you, and get well soon!

my latin teacher hates Ted Kennedy, she thinks he's an alcoholic. But she has very odd opinions about a lot of stuff.

I like him, and he's been senator for way longer than I've been alive, so I think it's very sad.

(for those of you who don't know, Ted Kennedy is a MA senator, and the younger brother of John and Robert, and he just publicized the fact that he has a cancerous brain tumor)

But you give me something, something like hope so long, and thanks for the fish <3

Thanks for starting this thread.

He's one of the last of the old classic liberals and we really need his voice.

I have to say that I am really kind of annoyed with how the media has him kind of "dead and buried" already.
Jesus. People DO make it through this kind of cancer. True, his age does make it harder for him but god I wish they would just slow down with the euolgies and shit. Fuckin CNN on deathwatch. grrr.
