I just read the wikipedia info on the band and the picture showing them was taken in Hamburg… back in November, I remember I wasn't even in the city that day, but it just… they've been here?!???… AND in the molotow? (that's like the best location for a concert, I've been there twice and both times so close to the band that I had to look out for the guitars…) Aaaaaah, that kills me..
Oh and another thing… I can't pick a favourite song… usually I have one or maybe two songs I really really like on an album, but I just cannot decide (quite similiar to OK Go)
It's great to wake up and first thing you do is watch some videos 
And I like their scarf-wearing too, it's so cute.
And I LOVE that first SNL promo video, the way Chris looks.. haha

GRR I didn't tape long enough last night so I didn't get to see them on SNL. But here's the only video on YouTube I could find that wasn't taken off for copyright infringement. They played A-Punk and M79, but it's not on YouTube anymore. Did you guys watch it? =D

Ah so many links and I don't have time to watch!
Huge fucking paper to write this weekend and it's killing me!
I did see the first performance on SNL last night and it was adorable!
But then I went to sleep because I knew fucking daylight savings time was going to fuck me over.
I can't wait til this paper is over so I can check out all this videos!

oh, and i found all my pictures on flickr. there was like 2000. i'm sure i didn't make it past half of them…
ahh! i was so nervous the whole day…my body couldn't take their cuteness!!! i was totally freaking out. at the end of the show they were just hugging everyone, awwwww…it made me happy. oh! and then there was that pic they showed with their chins on their hands and then their elbows on their knees (if that makes any sense…) well it was super adorable. they're going to kill me!!!
i think i had some sort of vw dream but i can't remember it

aww, yeah, they sold out fast. i didn't buy them at first because i didn't have any money so i had to go on ebay. i got a pair for about $80…i think that's decent…but i guess considering that they were like $14 that's pretty high…

okay, so I totally fell asleep after they played A-Punk!
and I missed M79, which sucks cause I haven't heard that one as often.
but I found it on youtube, thankfully, even though apparently snl are control freaks about copyright enfringement?

but anyways, they were totally adorable, and I love the little string quartet playing with them, that was very cool.
and yeah, I completely found out about them AFTER they played Boston… and it was the MFA, too which would have been supercool.
oh well. Maybe eventually they won't sell out? Maybe?

Also, as of today, I've burned their CD 5 different people. I know it sounds bad but the band make hardly a skerrick off of album sales and I'm spreading the love at a more rapid pace than if these people had to go out and buy it (if they bought it at all.)

I'm thinking about going, but I have no one to go with and it's at a place that I don't really know how to get to. If it was at a different venue, I wouldn't mind going by myself.

and I started singing along and he and his friend were really impressed that I knew who they were.

Oui. I had a friend that heard me say Vampire Weekend a couple of days ago and she started obsessing with me. And then I made a song reference by saying the kids don't stand a chance…she just gaped at me. haha
